College Credit Plus has replaced the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEO).

CCP still allows qualified students to earn college credit concurrently with high school credit at no cost to students. There are many ways for Euclid High School students to access this program. Students may remain in the comfort of EHS and take courses offered by Lake Erie College; or, students may venture off campus and take classes at area colleges, including; Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, and Lakeland Community College. Students may also access online courses as part of this program.

Who is eligible?

CCP On-Campus: Students who meet Lake Erie College's admission requirements. (Typically, these students have earned a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and have successfully completed at least one honors class).

CCP Off-Campus: Students are subject to the admission standards of the school to which they are applying. College-ready students in grades 7-12 are eligible to participate (college readiness is determined by remediation-free standards developed by the Ohio Department of Higher Education). College readiness often involves obtaining a minimum score on the ACT, SAT or Accuplacer tests. You may click on the links below to see admission information for some of our more popular schools.

Important Considerations

The maximum number of CCP credits a student can earn in a given school year is 30. Students must keep this in mind when scheduling.

Any high school classes a student takes are subtracted from that maximum of 30 using the following formula:

30 - (# of high school classes x 3) = Total number of CCP credit hours allowed

For example, a student taking 3 high school classes can take 21 college credit hours in a year (30 - (3 x3) = 21).
